Jendela operates a real estate platform with vertically integrated brokerage services in the three major cities of Indonesia. Indonesia lacks a real estate industry database similar to Japan's REINS (Real Estate Information Network System) or the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) in the United States. Furthermore, with no licensing requirements for real estate brokerage in general, there is inconsistency in the quality of brokerage services. Jendela addresses these challenges through its comprehensive one-stop service encompassing the entire process from property search to closing, providing significant value to industry stakeholders, including users, brokerage agents, and property owners.
For Reazon, which began investing in Southeast Asia last year, the investment in Jendela is its first investment in Indonesia. Reazon highly values the growth potential of the Indonesian real estate market and Jendela's excellent business model and operational capabilities, leading to the investment.
